Marie Salamagne designed the fragrance for Guerlain, the iconic French perfumery. Salamagne was born in France in 1977. Today she can work on more than 20 different fragrance designs at once. Guerlain has been in business for more than 175 and is legendary in its use of rare and exotic materials in its perfumes. This includes ylang-ylang, a tropical plant the company harvests from its own plantation in the Comoro islands.
