Fascinatingly, the name both gives away its aromatic profile and is a subtle play on words. Translated from the French, it means either “pink grapefruit” or “rose grapefruit,” appropriate for a fragrance with the sour citrus fruit as its star player. Even the packaging is distinctive, from its gorgeous green bottle with the logo embossed in the glass.
Hermes’ history goes back nearly two hundred years, starting in 1837 as a maker of equestrian accessories.
